Pankapu creates a vivid world of imagination and story telling that immerses the player so deeply, you will feel as if you were the champion called to defeat the nightmares.
It is always amazing when a trailer from a game can simply bring a smile to your face. Pankapu does exactly that with its vibrant world and deep story set in a world that could only be created in your mind. That is because it is! Pankapu is told through the eyes of Djaha’Rell, a child whose nights are regularly troubled by nightmares. In order to overcome his nightmares, his father tells him a story about Pankapu. Built from lore and legend, Pankapu the Dreamkeeper is born to restore peace and order to his world from the evil nightmares that have invaded the dream world.
The game will be seen through the eyes of Djaha’Rell projected through his mind in dreams. This will allow the player not only to live out the daring adventures of Pankapu but also get insight into what is exactly troubling Djaha’Rell to cause so many nightmares. The game will play as a dual narration as one story will be told in the foreground while players will notice many hints to the tragic story of Djaha’Rell. With that being said, this would be a great time to introduce the characters.
A world filled with imagination and dreams should only have a fitting scene. The game will take part in Omnia, the dreamworld. The kickstater has shown an impressive amount of places and scenery you will see in the game as well as the gorgeous hand painted backdrops you will be exploring. The game will also feature plenty of replay ability as levels will have hidden areas unlocked by the use of new special powers. The game does include special powers that can be attained through Aegis. Each one acting like a specialization that can be switched at any time in the game. They will be complete with selectable skill trees!
Pankapu is not a title to be missed because there is so much more to this game than whats on the surface. With deep imagination, vivid settings and a dual narration, this game has what a lot of games dream to achieve and we are only seeing what early alpha has given us. Plain and simply, Pankapu is a game you should back and buy when it comes out. You will not be disappointed. For more information and links please check them out below.
