Not only has Monster Hunter: World released to huge numbers over the weekend, but also in talks to help players continue to edit their players!
What a weekend it has been for Monster Hunter: World and Capcom in general! Reports have stated that the game has shipped more than 5 million copies in both digital and physical sales! With all the hype surrounding the game, it makes sense to be seeing these numbers. The number looks to only grow as almost all Amazon sites report the PS4 version of the game sold out as well as the PC players not joining in yet! Massive risk for Capcom and team but in the end just turned out amazing!
Players have been firing off SOS flares to add customization after the player creator screen and the developers are listening! A recent interview from Game Watch shows that the development team is willing to change something like this if there is enough player interest. Sometimes I wonder how this is not a standard feature in an RPG game like this but that is a different conversation! For now, fans will need to get on social media and let it be known that you want this change! I know a lot of people do not care about the looks of a character or could argue that it is a role-playing character so just role play, but sometimes what you create does not come out the way it looked in the creation screen. That is mostly why something like this needs to be put in! For all the rest, the grind and fun are still there in Monster Hunter: World!
